Status: This issue is still ongoing as of October 10, 2026. We will update this advisory when DHL confirms the scanners have been fixed and shipping times return to normal.
Dear Valued Customers,
We have been advised by WExpress, DHL’s local pickup and delivery partner, that the X-ray scanners at Dumaguete Airport have been out of service since September 10 pending major parts replacement.
As a result, DHL shipments originating from our location are currently being rerouted through the Cebu gateway. This may add extra transit time and may also cause tracking updates to appear later than usual.
Please be assured that your packages are still moving through the logistics network, and WExpress and DHL are working to move all affected shipments as quickly as possible.
We apologize for the unexpected delay and sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding.
