Sometimes, the shipping cost printed on your parcel’s waybill may not match the amount you paid during checkout. This discrepancy occurs because of how shipping fees are estimated and finalized during the shipping process.
1. How shipping fees are calculated
When we book your shipment online, the courier provides an estimated cost based on:
- The weight and dimensions of the parcel.
- The declared value of the items being shipped.
This estimate is printed on the waybill before the parcel is picked up. However, the delivery company double-checks the parcel's weight and size after pickup to ensure accuracy. Any adjustments to the shipping cost are reflected in a separate bill sent to us later.
2. Why the waybill fee might differ
- The waybill shows the initial estimated cost provided when we book your shipment.
- Any changes to the shipping cost after the courier’s verification process are not updated on the printed waybill.
For example:
If the courier determines the parcel weighs less or more than the estimate, or if its dimensions differ slightly, the final shipping cost we are billed may change. However, the printed waybill fee remains the same.
3. Rest assured about the fee you paid
The shipping cost you paid at checkout covers the total expenses for your shipment, including:
- The actual shipping fee billed by the courier.
- Secure packaging and handling fees to ensure your order arrives safely.
- Any additional charges for special services or locations, if applicable.
4. Can I see the actual shipping cost?
If you’re curious about the exact cost billed to us by the courier, feel free to contact our Support Team. We’ll be happy to provide you with a copy of the receipt for transparency.
