Sometimes, your DHL tracking may show one of these statuses for several days. This is normal, especially for shipments from the Philippines, and it doesn’t mean your parcel is lost or not yet shipped. Here’s what it means and what you should do.
What do these statuses mean?
- DHL has created a tracking number, and shipment details have been submitted.
- In the Philippines, it also means WExpress (DHL’s local partner) has collected the parcel and is moving it to the export gateway, which may take 3–5 days.
Why are there fewer updates in the Philippines?
In the early stages, local partners like WExpress handle shipments, and updates only appear when the parcel:
- Reaches a major facility or export gateway (e.g., hubs in Manila or Cebu).
- Gets scanned at key checkpoints.
What should you do?
-
Be patient: These statuses may stay the same for 3–5 days during inter-island transport.
-
Monitor your tracking: Use DHL’s tracking website or our Order Tracking tool.
-
Contact support: If there are no updates after 5 days, contact our Support Team.
